I'm happily married to Mr. Man. We have 2 daughters, Big R and Little R. I'm a stay at home mom. We moved from the big city to the country, living a dream. I'm a collector and a packrat. I'd rather read a book than watch a movie. I battle depression. I love life, but that wasn't always the case. This is my journal.

No More Freecycle!

Well I was finally able to put that North Korea business out of my mind thankfully. Been busy thinking about how cluttered the house is and my upcoming yard sale. See, I went and picked up more stuff I got from the Freecycle site and thought "What am I crazy? This is going totally against what I am trying to accomplish here!" I went on that site hoping to find some good stuff for free, stuff we can actually use. All I've managed to get is a pile of craft supplies, some pottery, clothes and purses we really don't need and some track lights. The track lights are the only really useful thing I've got from it. All I've managed to get rid of was a chandelier and a bag of Hubbys shirts that don't fit him. Big deal. So today I decided I need to stay off the Freecycle sites and focus on preparing for my yard sale. It's still a couple of months away but it'll take me that long to go through everything and organize it and clean it up, etc. My problem is that I'm a serious packrat and that I love auctions, yard sales and dollar stores. I will buy absolutely anything if it only costs a buck. It's a sickness. I'm a manic shopper/buyer. Also, we never did finish unpacking when we moved in here almost 4 years ago. Really, the last thing in the world I needed was to find those Freecycle sites! So that's the plan today. Organizing and de-cluttering.
Hubby will be working on my car. There is something wrong with it, and I suspect there's more than one problem. It sounds like a tank and is not running properly. This deep freeze cold weather isn't helping. Man I hope the groundhogs were right and we have an early spring!
