I'm happily married to Mr. Man. We have 2 daughters, Big R and Little R. I'm a stay at home mom. We moved from the big city to the country, living a dream. I'm a collector and a packrat. I'd rather read a book than watch a movie. I battle depression. I love life, but that wasn't always the case. This is my journal.

Snow Photos

Todays horoscope....

It's time to use your power of reason, but not to clarify anything in your outer world. There's a rich world of imagination and symbol that hovers just below your normal waking consciousness. Now that the Moon is in your 12th House of Secrets, make time to close your eyes and allow your subconscious thoughts to surface. There's nothing you need to do about whatever enters your mind. Just hold on to the memory after you open your eyes.

Hmmmm....not sure what to make of that one.

So there are some photos, all taken from inside the snuggly warmth of the house. I'm not going out in that unless I have to. Poor Hubby has a doctor appointment, so he has to go, he's out clearing off the car now. I thought I might want to go to town, but have since changed my mind.
I still feel worn out. It was so intense, watching from the house, in the dark, as the guys struggled to free those stuck vehicles, as other passing vehicles sped and swerved by. I was so afraid of seeing bodies going flying or a transport plowing into the whole mess and killing everyone involved. Very intense, my body aches from the tension. Hubby however, is hopped up on his pain medication, so he can do anything, he is Superman. I think I might help myself to some of his meds, or take a Lorazepam to relax my body.
I was watching Eddie walk on top of the drifts, I guess the freezing rain formed a hard crust on the snow, allowing him to do that, rather than sinking into it, in which case we would have to rescue him, as he is so tiny he would simply disappear in its depths.
Well it sounds like Hubby has the snowblower going. He must be clearing away the plow pile at the end of the driveway. It really isn't as bad out there as I expected it to be. And thankfully there were no stragglers' stranded or abandoned vehicles out in the ditch.
K, I'm out of here again, for now. Gotta go make another fruit salad, I'm addicted.
