Motorcycle SuperShow

Good evening/morning.
Why do I feel another all-nighter coming on? LOL
We did go to the bike show, pardon me, supershow, the biggest motorcycle supershow in Canada. You mean there were bikes there?? Huh, go figure.
We stopped at Jade's place first, where I was served a brown cow YUM and a shot of sambuca YUM. I finally got to see her Hubby's old shovelhead, nothing like an old shovelhead folks, gotta love em!
It's been so long since I was down in the city, it was...um...creepy.
We get there, what do I do? I check my coat of course! Well DUH ME, then every time I went outside for a smoke, I froze to death. We weren't there 5 minutes when I saw my old buddy M.J. That was cool! He said he'd tried calling us a few times and could never get through, so eventually gave up I suppose. Ya think? Ya think its impossible to get through when we're on stupid dial-up? We actually saw a few people we know, one main reason I even wanted to go, I knew we would run into someone we hadn't seen in a while.
Jade and her Hubby rock! They are mighty fun folk to hang out with. We spent the majority of our time in the various beer gardens, but did do some exploring, and shopping yeah! We were looking for a new jacket for my Hubby, no luck there, but I managed to score a pair of Harley boots for $99, which is a great price, and they even threw in a pair of gloves for free! So we picked LARGE size for Hubby, since he burned for a jacket and doesn't have nice new gloves, as I already do. I'm told, that alone was a $30 value, woohoo. Good score.
I've never been to this show before or the event center where it was held. The place is massive. There was a lot to see, and a hell of a lot of people. That's really all I saw, was all the people. Got plenty o' hugs for sure, yay.
We had fun and have decided, even though it sucked in some ways, we are going to make this a tradition. This show is held same time every year and its a good way to beat the after-the-holidays-blahs.
It was so cool to meet up with those we met up with lol! Love those re-connections. We gotta go to more of these types of things.
Anyhow, took some pics...

Thats Jade giving me a choke-hug LOL.

Yes there were bikes! This was the first one I saw that I liked.

Another one I liked.

Heres me with M.J and others I hadn't seen in ages...jeez, at least let me stand up, I'm not THAT short! lol

Here's Jade fondling one of the little cuties we seemed to keep running into at the various beer gardens, and taking over their tables LOL...

And here's me and Hubby, whom I must say I fell in love with all over again. (It may have been the boots he bought for me lol, but I don't think that was it).

We didn't get to use our coupons (sigh LOL) as they were only good after 5 p.m and we got there way before that. The cost of admission was astronomical, considering all it gets you is in the flippin door. The cost of a beer was pretty obnoxious too. But as I say, we had fun, so that makes it all worth it.
Gonna go try to sleep for a bit now.
Have a grrreat day!
