Location: Ontario, Canada

I'm happily married to Mr. Man. We have 2 daughters, Big R and Little R. I'm a stay at home mom. We moved from the big city to the country, living a dream. I'm a collector and a packrat. I'd rather read a book than watch a movie. I battle depression. I love life, but that wasn't always the case. This is my journal.

It's A Bonafide Blizzard!

Good morning......brrrrrrrrr.
So we've been experiencing "blizzard conditions". I'll pass. It wouldn't be so bad if we weren't running low on propane and therefore trying to conserve it. It is damn cold. And the wind is unreal. Can't tell if its actually snowing, or just blowing around. Of course today is a snow day, no school. I didn't get the trash out at all, so thats 2 weeks in a row. I was surprised to see him go by around 8 a.m. Thought he would at least be late considering the weather conditions.
Here I was going on about how much I like the snow, well, I asked for it. We're going to have to dig out the car today to make a quick run into town. Most of the snow seems to be just blown into drifts, some of which, especially around my car, are quite deep. I'm thinking, since the groundhogs said it'll be an early spring, this is the last hurrah, the last big winter storm, then things will mellow out and spring will start to blossom. Though, we have been known to have a blizzard in April here, and its not at all uncommon to have snow in May. Sigh...
As I'm putting together my photo pages for my site, I've come to realize my favourite subject for taking photos is flowers. I have tons and tons of flower pictures. Second would be the dog, now dogS. I've also come to realize what crappy pictures my old cameras took. I so look forward to a full summer of photography with this new camera.
Well, we didn't do much this weekend besides try to stay warm and keep the fire going. I still haven't played the new Nintendo games we got for Christmas. I've lost interest in my soaps. This happens every now and then, I'll stop watching for a couple of months, then tune back in and pick up where I left off.
I'm currently reading that book Hubby read in one day. Of course the title and author escape me at this time. I haven't found it to be a page-turner yet.
All this quality family togetherness time is getting old, lol. Little R has had a lot of days off school lately, with ski trip days and snow days. There's 3 of us and only 2 computers, you do the math. Ugh.
Have a great day, stay warm and stay off the roads!
