OOPS...My Mistake
Good morning.
Well now that I have calmed down I was able to find the site to email the Minister of Health. I sent a short n sweet, to the point, letter stating my outrage and asking why this happened. I then phoned my sister to find out how my father is doing. I asked her if she too was outraged about them sending father home rather than keeping him over-night. That's when she informed me that they wanted to keep him in, it was him who wanted to go home!!! OMFG. So I promptly sent another email to the Minister of Health with my apologies. My father is doing remarkably well and has a nurse coming in every day to change his bandages and whatnot. He could have told me this when I spoke to him on the phone the night of his surgery, but noooooo. He was upset and in pain, and thats ALL I heard. But he should have told me it was his choice to go home, not the hospital. Would have saved me a lot of grief. I feel quite relieved now, to know our hospitals aren't completely barbaric and to know my dad is doing well.
Is it ever cold out! We just took the guys for a very short walk, it was just too cold to go any further than we did.
All is right with the world once again.
Have a wonderful day!
