I'm happily married to Mr. Man. We have 2 daughters, Big R and Little R. I'm a stay at home mom. We moved from the big city to the country, living a dream. I'm a collector and a packrat. I'd rather read a book than watch a movie. I battle depression. I love life, but that wasn't always the case. This is my journal.

Sleep Disorders and Other Fetishes

Greetings...good morning I guess. Its 2 a.m, I feel another all-nighter coming on. Hubby has to be up at 4, so I may as well stay up and have his coffee ready.
Speaking of Hubby...when he came home he dropped a rather substantial wad of cash in my hand and I just LOVE when that happens! Too bad I'll be sleeping all day rather than starting the annual shopping extravaganza. But its the weekend...I'm going shopping...got some money...I'm gonna spend it...its the weekend...
Now wait, is the glass half empty? Or half full?
Ugh.
No signs of the wicked weather yet. The temps are dropping but thats about it. I've had a fire going all night so its shmokin in here.

Yesterday afternoon, as I was hanging a Christmas wreath on the front door, I glanced across the street, and there was one of the neighbours, in the POURING rain, up on a ladder, hanging a humungus wreath on the front of her house. Actually, she was fidgeting with the bow! It was just weird, like it was raining so hard and heavy, and there she is, 15 feet in the air, on a ladder, fiddling with the bow, on this gigantic wreath. I guess you had to be there lol. It just made me feel good. Made me chuckle. I thought, way to go B. that's the spirit! I believe she works for a garden center or nursery, so she always has gorgeous, fresh, REAL wreaths and whatnot.

I wish I knew if I can download my video camera onto the computer. I have some great footage. Its not a digital camera, but there must be a conversion cable or something. Hubby says we can't, but I think, where theres a will (and some technology) theres a way. Is that the glass half full or what? But I would say at least half the homes on the street light up for the holidays, and I filmed it last year while walking the dog. May seem small and insignificant to you, but man, where we used to live, some people actually complained about Christmas lights! And there was all these rules and regulations, sheesh. I have mentioned here before that I have a Christmas light fetish, what are you, new?

Just me and my guy being silly earlier. I don't think purple racoon print flannel is my best colour.
One hour to go. Maybe I'll go read some news. I feel too happy.
Hope you're having sweet dreams.
