It's 2 A.M And A Full Moon
You would think at age 45, one would know better than to smoke a joint right before going grocery shopping. Over $100 on mostly munchies and junk food! Crazy. Well, PMS too. Gotta have chocolate, at any cost.
After cherry pie and hot dogs, in that order, for dinner, Hubby picked another Christmas movie to watch. "It's A Wonderful Life". Oh yeah. I never even saw that movie until a couple of years ago, never watched it as a kid or anything. Knowing it was one of Hubby's favourites, I gave it to him for Christmas one year. I don't know how many times I fell asleep while attempting to watch it with him. This was the first time I actually stayed awake and paid attention. It's a good movie! Go figure. Still haven't watched Lord Of The Rings, Hubby doesn't want to.
Speaking of Hubby, his knee surgery is scheduled for the first of May. OMG. Knee surgery?? Where did that come from? As if he's not crippled enough already, this is going to be brutal. He won't be able to do anything! Supposedly the recovery will only take about 2 weeks, it's gonna be a loooong 2 weeks. Here I am thinking he'll be going back to work any time, wrong. Poor guy though, he's never had any kind of surgery before, in his life, ever. You know, I'm so used to him being a big, strapping, strong, tough guy. This is all so....different.
How long ago did I go bowling? A couple of weeks ago? Well, I don't know how it happened, but I got this little nick on my finger, either from the holes in the balls scraping it, or my fingernail gouging it. It was really sore afterwards. The damn thing still hasn't healed! It's tiny, but it is so annoyingly painful, unreal. Only me I tell ya.
Oh my Swiffer Wet Jet, oh boy! The evolution of the old mop and bucket routine. No more filling the bucket, wringing the mop, dragging the bucket all over the house! It's great! So easy, so lightweight, so convenient. And the way it swivels, and is so slim-lined, it fits under furniture and stuff. Awesome. But one thing I had no clue of was that it takes batteries. Never even occurred to me. But yup, 4 AA's. It's so worth it.
It's a full moon, I guess that's why I'm sitting here blogging at 2 a.m. Bear took off on me when I let him out too. He's been gone for a while now, so I must go hunt him down.
